Arts Council Malta, Med.TV, and Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) have signed a three-year partnership to bring Maltese culture to audiences across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. The collaboration will feature Maltese artists, festivals, exhibitions, and heritage through Med.TV’s international broadcast platform, combining Arts Council Malta’s cultural development expertise with PBS’s rich audiovisual archives. The agreement also paves the way for joint productions, original programming, and European funding opportunities, offering unprecedented visibility for Malta’s creative ecosystem abroad.
Teatru Manoel Productions To Reach Global Audiences via MED.TV
Local productions staged at Malta’s historic Teatru Manoel are set to gain international exposure following a new agreement with pan-Mediterranean broadcaster MED.TV. The memorandum of understanding establishes a collaboration that will see selected performances and cultural events professionally recorded and broadcast worldwide through MED.TV and its digital platforms.
The partnership aims to strengthen Malta’s visibility as a centre of culture and creativity, while also supporting the production of documentaries, interviews, and heritage features showcasing Teatru Manoel’s history and artistic legacy. It further opens opportunities for joint participation in EU-funded and international cultural and audiovisual projects.
Mediterranean Culture Goes Global with Malta’s Med.TV on GO and SKY Italia
Malta has become the home of Med.TV, the world’s first television channel devoted entirely to Mediterranean culture, lifestyle, and business. MED.TV Presented at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean
MED.TV was introduced at the 19th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), held in February 2025 at the Italian Senate and Chamber of Deputies in Rome. The event brought together parliamentary leaders from across 34 member states in the Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf regions to address shared challenges and foster regional cooperation.
