Med.TV Deepens Regional Cultural Connections With COPEAM

Malta, through Med Media Services Ltd and its channel Med.TV, has secured an additional seat within COPEAM, strengthening its role in promoting cultural cooperation across the Mediterranean.

The network, operating under the auspices of UNESCO, brings together media organisations to foster dialogue and collaboration in the region.

Speaking at the 32nd COPEAM Conference in Malta, Owen Bonnici highlighted the importance of culture as a tool for unity in times of global tension, noting that Med.TV plays a key role in enhancing cultural exchange and regional dialogue.

The move further reinforces Malta’s presence within the network, alongside Public Broadcasting Services, and supports ongoing efforts to position the country as a hub for Mediterranean creativity and cooperation.
