The Patras International Festival is one of the biggest summer cultural institutions of Greece.

The floats of the Patras Carnival, built every year by the Carnival Workshop of the Municipality of Patras, constitute an inextricably linked feature with the great celebration of Patras, established in the consciousness of the whole country as the leader in its kind on a panhellenic scale and as one of the most important internationally.
