Med.TV Brings Mediterranean Culture to Millions, Founded by Ex-UN Diplomat

Med.TV, founded by former UN diplomat Anton Tabone, has officially launched from Malta, becoming the world’s first television channel dedicated entirely to Mediterranean culture, lifestyle, and business. The channel, Malta’s first to obtain a satellite licence, is already broadcasting on GO and SKY Italia and will soon expand to other regions and streaming platforms.

Offering cultural documentaries, travel and food shows, drama, and business series like MedBiz and Med CEOs, programming is available in multiple languages with English subtitles. Tabone highlights the channel’s mission: “Launching Med.TV from Malta embodies the spirit of the Mediterranean, connecting its diverse voices across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.”
