MED.TV lands Rakuten TV carriage across 43 European markets
Med Media Services from Malta has launched its Mediterranean focused FAST channel MED.TV on Rakuten TV, bringing the channel to audiences in 43 European markets.
Since its debut in 2025, MED.TV has offered a wide range of content reflecting Mediterranean culture and lifestyle, from documentaries and travel shows to culinary programmes, feature films, classical concerts, opera and business oriented series such as Into the Med, Mediterraneo, Signorie, Mediterranean Kitchen, and Med Leaders.
In addition to streaming, MED.TV continues to broadcast via the Eutelsat Hotbird satellite, reaching an estimated 160 million households across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
