MED.TV FAST channel on Rakuten TV

Malta based Med Media Services has announced the launch of its FAST channel MED.TV on Rakuten TV, making the channel available in 43 European territories.

Launched in 2025, MED.TV showcases the Mediterranean through a mix of documentaries, travel and culinary series, feature films, classical concerts and business focused programmes, including titles such as Into the Med, Mediterraneo, Signorie, Mediterranean Kitchen and Med Leaders.

Med Media Services COO Manolo Mantovani said the partnership supports the channel’s strategy to expand through linear and streaming platforms, while Marcos Milanez, Chief Content Officer at Rakuten TV, said MED.TV adds distinctive Mediterranean storytelling to the platform’s growing FAST portfolio.

The channel also launched in 2025 on the Eutelsat Hotbird satellite and is available to around 160 million homes across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
